ABOUT
Company Overview
Montgomery Technologies
Montgomery Technologies is a steady-growth, debt-free, CRE infrastructure company with a multi-decade history of outstanding performance and a platinum reputation for customer service. We understand commercial real estate involves long-term relationships that depend upon consistent delivery, not marketing. Since 2002, we have ensured that the representations we make to our clients are consistent with our delivery, resulting in consistent year-over-year revenue growth and a customer retention rate of over 99% – an achievement unequaled in any industry.
We are building infrastructure experts.
Montgomery is structured as two divisions: Riser Management and Intelligent Riser. Offered throughout North America, these service offerings are completely independent – buildings routinely contract for one, the other, or both.
Riser Management Division
Over the decades, cabling in telecom closets has evolved from phone and fax lines to fiber optics that support a tenant’s entire operation. Having a formal process for screening and documenting to these security-sensitive areas is now of critical importance.
Riser Management mitigates liability by providing access screening and COI verification, while ensuing all riser cabling is performed to code and building standard. Riser Management also supports the tenant move-in process, streamlining the procurement and extension of telecom services to tenant space.
At no cost to the building, our riser management service includes:
- A 24x7x365 service center
- A dedicated account manager
- Facilitation of ISP license agreements (new and renewal)
- Maintain a database of building infrastructure and pathways
- Tenant concierge services.
Intelligent Riser Division
The networks that operate building systems are brittle and operate in a nonsecure, nonstandard environment. Each new technology, system, or upgrade only adds to the complexity, creating additional cybersecurity risk and potential points of failure. Intelligent Riser mitigates cybersecurity and outage risk by installing a converged network dedicated to building systems.
Our 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC) provides ongoing, enterprise-class network management (cybersecurity, monitoring, and maintenance) to ensure all connected systems are cybersecure, up, and running to the 99.999% (five 9s) enterprise standard. We act as the single point of contact for all moves, adds, and changes, ensuring security standards are enforced and maintained, while supporting “plug-and-play” connectivity from the network.
Intelligent Riser provides quantifiable capex and opex savings and real-time visibility into what is connected, how it is connected, and where each device and piece of equipment is located within the building.
Intelligent Riser is installed in hundreds of office buildings throughout North America and is the most installed building systems network in the world.
